Warringah Freeway Upgrade Project
We are working with Transport for NSW to deliver the Warringah Freeway Upgrade Project, improving the Sydney road network.
The Warringah Freeway Upgrade Project is part of the Western Harbour Tunnel and Beaches Link (WHTBL) Program and will upgrade approximately 4km of the Warringah Freeway, Australia’s busiest road. The project will improve the existing Freeway’s operation, reduce merging, provide a dedicated bus lane, and connect the future Northern Beaches Tunnel and the Western Harbour Tunnel into the WestConnex roadways system.
The Warringah Freeway Upgrade Project is the first major road project in NSW using an Incentivised Target Cost (ITC) contract model, a form of collaborative contracting model which is a hybrid of the traditional lump-sum and the managing contract models. Investructure proudly provides commercial services for managing the ITC contract, supporting TfNSW in achieving a best-for-project commercial outcome.
