Struan is passionate about the planning and delivery of all Infrastructure projects and understanding the mechanisms by which Governments can do them better, faster and with greater clarity of the outcome.
Over the last 20 years, his professional enthusiasm has grown through his engineering and project management work on diverse and challenging projects with some incredibly talented engineers and PMs.

Aaron is an experienced leader specialising in the delivery of major projects. More recently Aaron has supported private and public sector clients to build organisational capability, drive business improvements and achieve optimised performance and project outcomes.
Aaron has a passion for being challenged by unique, high-profile and highly complex projects which require both strategic and technical leadership.
Aaron prides himself on building high-performing teams and forming strong and lasting relationships.
James Wilcox
James is a highly experienced commercial executive with strong commercial, contractual, and business skills and an impressive track record of more than 20 years in commercial and general management leadership roles in both contractor and client environments.
James has a keen eye for risk and the capability to collaborate across business functions to facilitate the identification, management, and mitigation of risk throughout the project lifecycle to help drive proactive risk management, leading to successful project outcomes.
James is passionate about building, leading and mentoring teams of commercial professionals and fostering a supportive team culture that is focused on producing positive results for clients.
Loretta Lynch
Loretta is a legally qualified commercial leader with a thorough knowledge of the contractual and commercial aspects over the entire lifecycle of a project. Loretta has experience working for construction contractors in pre-contracts review and negotiation, supporting project delivery, and leading the resolution of disputes.
She has led multi-disciplined claims teams on distressed projects, formulating and executing the commercial recovery strategy. She also has experience leading dispute resolution processes such as the submission of adjudications applications, negotiating deeds of settlement, mediation, arbitration and litigation.
Kay Salvair Smith
Kay’s passion is enabling business improvement through mentoring, leadership development and identifying opportunities for organisational and operational innovation. Through her own organisational experiences and those with SPS Leaders Alliance, Chief Executive Women and Deputy Chair Capacity and Fellows Mentor with Roads Australia, Kay has been able to provide coaching to the next generation of leaders in the infrastructure and building environment.
Kay is also recognised as one of Australia’s leading major infrastructure procurement and commercial practitioners. For more than 25 years, Kay has partnered with government and private clients to deliver complex infrastructure solutions across all project and asset lifecycle phases in the Australian infrastructure and development markets. She has also been an active supporter of disaster recovery responses, including supporting pro bono efforts for affected communities.
She has extensive expertise as an advisor, strategist, developer and manager of large infrastructure assets and services, particularly in transport, telecommunications, property and social, resources and energy.
James Holbrook
James is an experienced Chartered Civil Engineer with over 20 years of management and leadership experience. He has held senior management roles in contractor, consultant, project management and client organisations in both the private and public sectors.
James works across Investructure’s whole service offering, with a specific focus on the Strategy and Optimisation workstream.
Neville Moran
Neville has over 20 years of consulting experience in the field of environmental impact assessment and management, strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.
Neville has been involved in numerous large infrastructure projects in Australia and Africa providing project direction, technical input, undertaking technical reviews, and project management.
His approach to projects focuses on clear communication streams, building project-specific focused delivery teams, identifying project risks, and providing innovative and commercially astute solutions.
Ryan McPherson
Ryan is a highly experienced professional in commercial and contractual related matters within the construction industry. This experience spans across many projects located in the United Kingdom, Middle East and Australia. This includes projects in various sectors such as Rail, Civils, Infrastructure, Health, Highways, Mechanical and Electrical with project values ranging from AUD$15m-AUD$2.4bn.
Ryan has a first-class honours degree in quantity surveying and achieved distinction on the LLM in Construction Law at Robert Gordon University. He is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Melissa Lim Navarro
Melissa is an experienced project manager with a proven track record on major infrastructure projects. Melissa is an analytical and logical thinker which allows her to drive projects outcomes and solve complex problems.
Melissa’s strengths include the management of multidisciplinary objectives, competently developing flexible and workable solutions to meet organisation and stakeholder needs.
Melissa is a fully qualified lawyer with years of experience working in the property field, including state taxation and litigation.
Sep Zarrin
Sep Zarrin is a highly versatile experienced Associate Director with qualifications in construction law, civil engineering and finance. His diverse background and extensive experiences on major projects enable him to communicate complex technical problems with various key project stakeholders, offering commercial value at all stages of the project life-cycle.
Sep has significant experience in procuring and delivering high profile major infrastructure projects including Incentivised Target Cost and Design and Construct, which stands him great stead to continue to support our clients in successful delivery of major infrastructure projects. Outside of work, Sep is committed in further developing his commercial skills through his role in the Society of Construction Law Australia’s Events Committee.
James Harrison
James is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 15 years experience in project delivery, specialising in commercial and contract management on major building and infrastructure projects. James has extensive experience working for both clients and contractors across multiple sectors including transport infrastructure and commercial buildings. He has significant experience in procuring and delivering under Incentivised Target Cost, Managing Contractor, Design and Construct and Construct Only contract models.
Drawing on his extensive background and construction management and quantity surveying qualifications, James supports his clients in commercial and contract management, negotiations, change and risk management and overall project delivery throughout Australia.
Julia Tims
Julia is a qualified Aeronautical Engineer with over 20 years of consulting and project management experience. She has worked across government and private enterprise in a range of industries including transport, infrastructure, defence, technology, and research.
Julia is a project leader with a proven history of driving project and commercial outcomes using collaborative and engaging outlooks. Her background in high-tech projects gives her an appreciation of systems thinking and operations and maintenance requirements, while her program management expertise provides her with a thorough understanding of interface management within project and program delivery.
Nikita Slinko
Nikita is an advisory professional with broad cross-cultural experience providing technical leadership and people management. His key specialisations include business case development, data science, model-based systems engineering, and integration throughout the project lifecycle.
Nikita’s work across major projects in technical and people leadership roles has earned him awards in Government & Public Sector, Business & Industry Solution Of The Year and an award in a Data Leadership Category.
Hal Hissey
Hal brings over fourteen years of experience in project management and the development of large-scale critical infrastructure projects throughout Australia. He has a keen interest in all aspects of project planning, procurement, and delivery and brings value to teams through his strong communication skills and the consistent desire to understand and streamline processes and procedures.
Many of Hal’s prior and current roles have involved the planning and development of multi-million dollar energy and transport projects from concept to execution.
Latoya Griffin
Latoya brings ten years’ experience in the infrastructure space with a particular strength in rail including five years’ experience on Sydney Metro across multiple packages of work. Latoya’s expertise spans the whole lifecycle of project management and includes procurement, transaction due diligence, strategic commercial advice and contract management, construction delivery and stakeholder interface, and risk management.
Through adept communication and interpersonal skills, Latoya has effectively navigated complex stakeholder landscapes, ensuring transparent and collaborative partnerships and the achievement of project objectives.
Michael Jennings
Michael is an experienced international commercial management professional with a track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across diverse sectors, including rail, energy, and healthcare. He has excelled in leading commercial and contract functions throughout the entire project lifecycle, focusing on procurement strategies, vendor management, and complex negotiations.
With a focus on maximizing value through cost efficiency and robust risk management, he has successfully overseen high-profile projects such as Crossrail (UK), Sydney Metro (Australia), and major HV contracts. Michael is adept at managing commercial governance, resolving contract disputes, and providing strategic commercial leadership. He is committed to driving operational excellence, ensuring the effective management of contracts, and enhancing project delivery outcomes in line with quality, time, and cost goals.
Kamal Sohi
Kamal has over ten years of experience working in project delivery and operations, covering a wide range of project management functions, from design interface to integration and business readiness, with a continued focus on risk and contract management best practices.
Kamal has an agile working style with the ability to grow and change in line with business needs. This has been demonstrated through successfully transitioning roles from design to commercial, to risk and now operations and integration.
She is currently completing a Master of Project Management at the University of Sydney with a Distinction average, to further develop her project management skill set. Whilst giving back to the community, through her volunteer work as the Risk & Safety Coordinator of the Australian National Sikhs Sports & Cultural Council (ANSSACC).
Simon Chan
Simon has extensive and diverse experience in providing infrastructure advice working on contractor and client-side consultancy both domestically and internationally. With significant commercial experience across the whole lifecycle of an infrastructure project from transaction, through project delivery, dispute resolution and into asset management, Simon is well placed to support our clients in the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects.
Simon utilises his combined technical, financial, and commercial insight while managing all stakeholders both internally and externally to communicate best for project results. He also brings a blend of strategy and collaborative approach to commercial advice and leadership while maintaining and maximising client’s outcome.
Jacqui Stone
Jacqui has extensive experience in infrastructure projects for major government clients in various roles in Australia and internationally. Her background is primarily in the transport sector, having worked at Transport for London (TfL) (UK) in various Engineering and Project Management roles across road and rail teams, with recent experience applying these skills to clients in NSW in sectors including Water, Energy and Transport.
She has strong problem-solving skills and experience managing a range of stakeholders, projects and teams from early stage project development through to delivery and handover.
Brittney Goodman
Brittney is a solution-oriented lawyer and commercial manager with a diverse range of experiences spanning transactional, regulatory and industrial relations matters with a focus on front end contract advice, negotiations and management in the construction sector.
Brittney’s previous experience in the real estate industry, dealing in distressed and government projects, assisted in developing a strong negotiation, strategic and stakeholder management skill set.

Smeet is an experienced infrastructure advisor with industry expertise spanning renewable energy projects, major transport infrastructure, environmental systems, and commercial real estate for government and private clients nationally.
Drawing upon his robust background in transaction management, commercial advisory and project delivery, Smeet consistently delivers well-informed advice to his clients, enabling the successful execution of the projects he undertakes.

Marina offers extensive experience in project, programme and transaction management, change management, strategic project development, procurement, market sounding, organisational design and process improvement.
