Humelink Project
HumeLink is a new 500kV transmission line which will connect Wagga Wagga, Bannaby and Maragle. It is one of the state’s largest energy infrastructure projects, with about 360 km of proposed new transmission lines, and new or upgraded infrastructure at three locations.
Investructure is supporting TransGrid on the HumeLink West and East Projects, in the transition of the projects from transaction phase into delivery phase. Our commercial delivery experts are working with TransGrid in the development of the commercial and contractual governance and process that a project of this magnitude needs to provide seamless project delivery.
The HumeLink projects are being delivered under an Incentivised Target Cost form of contract, so a collaborative, transparent and open approach to the project is essential, and therefore the governance and process documents are drafted to promote this behaviour.
The Investructure team have deep experience in the transaction and delivery of projects under an Incentivised Target Cost form of contract, so our team were perfectly positioned to provide TransGrid with the expertise they required.
